Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking an Assurance Specialist to join their team in Brackenfell. This role involves conducting internal audits, ensuring compliance with regulations, and evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, at least 5 years of experience in Internal Audit, and will be proficient in Microsoft Office. Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in Internal Audit or Compliance.
• Professional Internal Audit qualification (preferably CIA).
• Valid driver's licence and own transport.
• Prior experience in the transport or logistics industry is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct internal audits and compliance assessments.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls.
• Plan and document audit assignments.
• Manage audit relationships with line management.
• Ensure timely reporting of deviations.
• Establish a comprehensive quality assurance system.
• Prepare and present audit reports and recommendations.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
