Job summary

Amaris Consulting in Cape Town is seeking an experienced QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of software solutions through comprehensive testing, both manual and automated.

You will design, develop, and execute tests with Playwright, Robot Framework, and Selenium while collaborating with cross-functional teams to cover requirements and improve automation frameworks.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of software testing experience.
• Automation testing experience for at least 2 years.
• Proficiency with Playwright, Robot Framework and Selenium.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

You will join our team in Cape Town, working within the Financial Services sector to ensure the quality and reliability of software solutions through rigorous testing processes.

Your Missions

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases using Playwright, Robot Framework, and Selenium
• Collaborate with development and business teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage
• Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution
• Maintain and enhance automation frameworks for continuous improvement
• Participate in test planning, estimation, and reporting activities
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices

Your Profile

• Experience in software testing (4 to 6 years)
• Experience in automation testing (at least 2 years)
• Proficiency with Playwright, Robot Framework, and Selenium
• Experience in Financial Services is beneficial
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• You demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• You demonstrate strong communication skills
• You demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a team environment
