The Role
Our client is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead and coordinate cross-functional projects within the financial domain, with a strong emphasis on logical access management and single sign-on implementations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing medium-scale projects, aligning stakeholders, and delivering secure, compliant, and scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project delivery for financial systems and access management initiatives.
- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources across multiple workstreams.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and application teams to implement approved solutions.
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement, including business units, IT, compliance, and vendors.
- Ensure alignment with regulatory and security standards.
- Develop and maintain project documentation : charters, plans, RAID logs, and status reports.
- Conduct risk assessments and mitigation planning for vulnerabilities.
- Drive change management and user adoption strategies for new access protocols.
- Monitor KPIs and report progress to senior leadership and governance forums.
Skills and Experience
- 3–5 years of project management experience, preferably in financial services or fintech.
- Strong understanding of Logical Access Management principles and SSO technologies (e.g., Okta, Azure AD, Ping Identity).
- Familiarity with IAM frameworks and tools (e.g., SailPoint, CyberArk, ForgeRock).
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and third-party vendors.
- Solid grasp of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid).
- Proficiency in project tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, Smartsheet).
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to translate technical requirements into business outcomes.
Qualifications
- Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, CAPM, or Agile PM) preferred
- Security or IAM-related certifications (e.g., CISM, CISSP, or similar) are a plus
