Job summary

Medi Response Holdings PTY LTD in Gauteng is seeking qualified Intermediate Life Support Paramedics for the Johannesburg Remote Site to join a dynamic regional team delivering critical pre-hospital emergency care across South Africa.

The role requires HPCSA registration (ILS), CPD compliance, a valid PrDP and driver’s license; you will perform assessments, stabilization, and safe patient transport, maintain records, and uphold our standards of professionalism and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• HPCSA current and valid registration (ILS).
• CPD compliance up to date as per CPD updates.
• Valid driver’s licence and PrDP.
• CPG updates adhered to in practice.
• Good communication, decision-making and teamwork skills.
• Professional presentation with a calm, focused attitude in high-pressure environments.
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Office).

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly and efficiently to emergency incidents and calls for assistance.
• Deliver pre-hospital emergency care in accordance with scope of practice and Medi Response protocols.
• Perform patient assessments, provide stabilisation, and ensure safe patient transport.
• Support inter-facility transfers and other operational activities as required.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient documentation and medical reports.
• Uphold Medi Response's values of professionalism, integrity and compassionate care.
