Job summary

Indsafri is seeking an Intermediate Developer to join its software team to build and maintain high-quality applications. You will work independently on tasks and collaborate within a development team to deliver features and fixes that meet technical and business requirements.

You will contribute to design discussions, implement RESTful APIs, and participate in code reviews while growing through Agile ceremonies and cross-functional teamwork.

Qualifications

• 2-4+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• Experience with modern frameworks including Spring Boot, .NET Core, Angular/React/Vue/Django/Express.
• Solid understanding of OOP, design principles, and software development best practices.
• Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Job Specification: Intermediate Developer

Role Overview

The Intermediate Developer is responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality software applications. The role requires solid programming skills, the ability to work independently on assigned tasks, and collaboration within a development team. The Intermediate Developer will support senior developers, contribute to design discussions, and ensure software solutions meet technical and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Software Development

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Implement new features, enhancements, and bug fixes.
• Participate in application design and contribute to technical decisions.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Work closely with senior developers, business analysts, QA engineers, and product owners.

3. Testing & Quality

• Write unit tests and assist with integration testing.
• Debug issues and troubleshoot production or testing defects.
• Follow secure coding standards and best practices.

• Maintain technical documentation for features and enhancements.
• Support maintenance of existing systems and assist in refactoring legacy code.
• Assist with deployment processes and CI/CD pipelines when needed.

Required Experience & Skills
