Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Intermediate Automation Tester to join our QA and Integration team. The ideal candidate will have experience across the full testing lifecycle and a deep understanding of ISTQB-aligned practices, ALM/QC, and various testing methodologies including API and integration testing. You will play a key role in ensuring quality delivery across multiple systems within a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Analyse business, functional, and technical specifications to develop test plans and test cases.

Design and execute positive and negative test cases, including modular, integration, volume, regression, and user acceptance tests.

Create and maintain test data sets (e.g., profiles, batch files).

Track and record test execution results; manage and prioritise defect logs.

Conduct defect triage meetings with business and technical stakeholders.

Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Maintain and update the Build Test Matrix based on new functionality or scope changes.

Perform deployment/build testing and post-deployment live testing.

Support cross-business unit integrated testing within the Group.

Document and manage integration test plans, cases, logs, and follow sign-off procedures.

Recommend scope for performance testing and interpret LoadRunner results.

Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum 5 years' experience in integration and QA testing roles.

IT Diploma or Degree in a relevant field.

Professional certifications strongly preferred:

ISTQB (mandatory)

XML, IAT, DOD II, OSCP, CEH, CISA, CISSP (advantageous)

Technical Skills & Tools:

ALM/QC (Application Lifecycle Management / Quality Center) - Mandatory

JIRA

API Testing with Postman

Knowledge of SDLC methodologies (Agile, Waterfall)

Understanding of relational databases and data validation

Familiarity with integration frameworks and test automation tools

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities

Highly detail-oriented with a methodical approach to testing

Capable of managing defects and coordinating cross-functional teams

Nice to Have:

Exposure to DevOps CI/CD environments

Scripting skills for test automation

Experience working in large enterprise environments
