Job summary

The Talent Room in George, Western Cape, seeks a skilled Architectural Draughtsman to develop detailed architectural and interior design drawings using Revit, AutoCAD, and SketchUp.

You will work closely with architects, interior designers and project managers to prepare floor plans, elevations, sections, and 3D renderings, while ensuring compliance with building codes and accurate site measurements.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in architectural draughting or related field.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Suite.
• 3+ years of experience in architectural drafting with a focus on interiors.
• Strong understanding of materials, finishes and interior detailing.
• Ability to interpret and create technical drawings with precision.
• Experience with joinery, furniture detailing and space planning is a plus.
• Excellent client relations, communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed architectural and interior design drawings using Revit, AutoCAD and SketchUp.
• Work closely with architects, interior designers and project managers to bring concepts to life.
• Prepare and modify floor plans, elevations, sections and 3D renderings.
• Ensure drawings comply with building codes and regulations.
• Assist in site measurements, surveys and space planning.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers and engineers to ensure project execution aligns with design.
