Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles on long-distance routes between major South African cities, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
• Ensure the timely pickup and delivery of express documents and packages, meeting all specified deadlines.
• Maintain the security and integrity of all shipments throughout the transit process.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, reporting any maintenance or safety issues immediately.
• Accurately complete all required documentation, including delivery manifests, logbooks, and fuel records.

• Provide professional and courteous service to clients during pickup and delivery.

Requirements

• Valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP) and an appropriate driver's license (Code 10 or higher).

• Excellent knowledge of South African road networks, including major intercity routes.
• Proven ability to manage time effectively and meet strict delivery schedules.
• A clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative to solve problems on the road.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Physical capability to handle occasional loading and unloading of packages.
• Resilience and ability to cope with the demands of extended periods of driving and potential travel.
• Familiarity with navigation systems and GPS devices is essential.
