Boardroom Appointments is seeking an Insurance Business Analyst for a contract position in the Western Cape. The role involves working across mobile and web portals with custom-built solutions to support insurance operations.

The analyst will assist in crafting strategies to grow revenue, reduce costs and mitigate risk, while transforming data from legacy systems into decision-ready formats and producing risk-focused reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Insurance Business or related field.
• Experience in the insurance industry is required.
• Digital experience is a plus.
• Understanding of back-end integration is beneficial.
• Familiar with mobile and web portals and custom built solutions.

Responsibilities

• Assists in creating new business strategies to improve revenue, minimize expenses and reduce risk exposure
• Converts data from existing systems into an easily accessible format that can be used for decision support.
• Develops reports and documents that communicate the results of analysis and risk management projects and strategies.
• Assesses risk to determine appropriate insurance coverage and business strategies
• Develops relationships with brokers, agents, and regulators
• Evaluates risks and recommends policy change.
• Communicate with underwriters, policy holders, regulators, and customers on a regular basis to address problems and make recommendations
