Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an innovative and analytical Insurance Product Development Specialist to join their Upington team. You will design, develop, and launch new insurance products and refine existing ones to meet market demands and strategic objectives.

You will conduct market research, analyze competitors, and collaborate with underwriting, actuarial, legal, and marketing teams to ensure compliant product implementation and successful portfolio growth in the Northern Cape.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Finance, Actuarial Science, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in product development, product management, or a related role within the insurance industry.
• Strong understanding of insurance products, markets, and regulatory environments.
• Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
• Familiarity with product development tools and methodologies, relevant to the Upington market.
