Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Insurance Portfolio Manager to provide exceptional service and quotations for clients' personal short-term insurance requirements.

The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing and providing quotations for existing portfolios, assisting clients via phone, capturing changes on the system, and maintaining a diary of outstanding information / documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Servicing and providing quotations for existing portfolios to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Assisting clients by phone, taking instructions, and confirming them in writing to maintain open communication channels.
  • Capturing changes on the system, generating schedules and debit / credit notes, and sending to the client with a covering letter to ensure seamless transaction processing.
  • Maintaining a diary of outstanding information / documentation and following up regularly via telephone, email, or SMS to ensure timely resolution of queries.
  • Deleting warranties and adjusting premiums if discounts were given for a tracking device or limited kilometres, and documentation / information is not received after 3 follow-ups to optimize policy coverage.
  • Advising clients on proper insurance coverage and maintaining necessary working notes to ensure accurate risk assessment.
  • Making notes on EDS files regarding follow-up on diary to facilitate efficient workflow management.
  • Contacting clients who request cancellation to understand the reason and offer alternative options to retain them.
  • Flagging any client-specific issues related to loss of income or poor service levels to ensure prompt attention.
  • Confirming all advice, telephonic discussions, and client discussions in writing to maintain a paper trail.
  • Handling Renewals, New Business, Re-insurance, and Credit Control to ensure comprehensive policy management.
