A leading insurance provider in South Africa is seeking an Insurance Administrator to handle administrative and claims tasks. You will ensure compliance with legal requirements while driving client service excellence. Candidates should have insurance industry knowledge, strong negotiation and communication skills. This is a permanent position based in Randburg.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of the insurance industry, specifically Short-Term Personal Lines.
  • Ability to maintain a 95% QA rate on all client engagements.
  • Proficiency in written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

  • Assist and service customers within SLA via electronic and telephonic communication.
  • Ensure timely resolution of client requests and keep clients updated on claims.
  • Maintain compliance with all FAIS fit and proper requirements.

Introduction Tracker requires the services of an Insurance Administrator.

The successful candidate will be required to execute administrative and claims tasks for the division in accordance with all legal requirements, and drive client services in alignment with Tracker's strategic objectives.

The candidate must be able to work with different departments within Tracker as well as business partners and clients.

The candidate will be required to deliver on all daily operations; ensuring the efficient and timeous throughput of email and telephony work items; as well as planning, directing, co-ordinating and driving results.

Key roles and responsibilities
  • Servicing and assisting customers timeously within SLA via electronic and telephonic communication
  • Ensuring required availability to action incoming telephonic requests as per the business hours
  • Ensure a one-time resolution on all client requests
  • Ensure that clients are kept up to date on the entire claims journey from claim intimation to claim paid
  • Applying TCF principles across all engagements with clients and stakeholders
  • Ensuring compliance with all FAIS fit and proper requirements
  • Ensuring that advice is given within the ambit and framework of the regulations
  • Maintaining a 95% QA rate on all engagements
  • Assisting with any ad-hoc business requirements as-and-when necessary, including, but not limited to refunds, credits, cancellations, sms's, emails and reporting
Qualifications, experience, and competencies required
  • Registered Representative - RE5 - (or to be completed within 12 months)
  • Matric FAIS credits (or to be completed within 12 months)
  • Insurance Industry knowledge and background (Short-Term Personal Lines)
  • Negotiation Skills
  • Conflict management and resolution
  • Ability to communicate actively and effectively
  • High proficiency in written and verbal communication
