Job description
SUMMARY

Our client in the chemical processing industry in Kempton Park is looking for an Instrumentation Maintenance Supervisor with 5 to 10 years Supervisory / Foreman experience to join them.

POSITION INFO

Minimum requirements:

  • National Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering, equivalent or higher
  • Must have a Red Seal / Trade Tested - Instrumentation
  • Knowledge of Area Classification and Safety Integrity Level (SIL) standards
  • Primary Responsibility: Legal appointment as the OHS Section 8.2(i) for instrumentation works on site to ensure all legal and statutory compliance take place according to the OHS Act, Pressure Equipment Regulations and General Machinery Regulations
  • Primary Responsibility: In terms of General Machinery Regulations 2(7)(a) as an Assistant to the competent person in respect of machinery used in area of responsibility
  • Staff management
  • Computer literate (MS Office / CMMS Software / SAP system)
  • Plan the execution of work in compliance to statutory requirements using OEM, RCM, 5Why and RCA
  • Control the instrumentation infrastructure, systems and instrumentation resources in ensuring the instrumentation infrastructure (Level, pressure, flow, analytical instrumentation, etcetera) is continuously available for operational purposes
  • Extensive knowledge of ISO 14001, 45001, 9001
  • SHERQ Training course completed
  • Safety Work Permit training
