Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for an ICT & Digital Skills Instructor based nationally in South Africa across our partner universities. The Instructor will be the cornerstone of our programme delivery, responsible for guiding and mentoring students through cutting‑edge curricula. You will deliver engaging, high‑quality instruction using our proprietary YDP SA Hybrid LMS, a powerful, in‑house built platform that supports our full‑blown online school. Your role is crucial in shaping the next generation of tech talent in South Africa in relevant fields.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, IT, or a related field is preferred; however, equivalent professional experience will be strongly considered.
• Demonstrated expertise in teaching, training, or mentoring, with a proven ability to develop interactive lesson plans and implement effective teaching strategies.
• Strong experience in curriculum development, classroom management, and utilizing educational technology and digital tools.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt to diverse learning needs and foster an inclusive environment.
• A genuine passion for empowering students and a strong commitment to fostering their professional growth.
• Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic setting.
• Prior experience in IT, SaaS, or youth empowerment programs is a significant advantage.

Mandatory Accreditation with at least 1 year experience

Candidates must hold one or more of the following active accreditations:

• QCTO Assessor/Moderator for ICT Occupational Certificates.
• Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT).
• CompTIA Certified Technical Trainer (CTT+).
