About the role

As Installation Manager for the Western Cape, you’ll be a cornerstone of this ambition—driving operational excellence across new installations and modernizations while hitting every strategic target for safety, quality, profitability, and customer loyalty. Reporting to the Delivery & Operations Manager, you’ll lead a team of Installation Supervisors from our Cape Town office, owning the full project lifecycle for every project in the Cape Region.

Your Mission

Project Delivery & Installation: Own scope, schedule, budget, and contractual compliance for every project—new builds to full modernizations.

  • Master resource optimization: people, tools, cranes, subcontractors—zero waste, maximum ROI.
  • Run full-chain monitoring: daily dashboards, deviation alerts, corrective actions.
  • Champion safety, quality, productivity: zero incidents, method-statement adherence, continuous improvement.
  • Be the customer’s trusted partner: proactive updates, dispute resolution, and escalations owned.
  • Integrate planning with sales, maintenance, and customer teams for seamless handovers.
Project Management
  • Lead start-up, governance, reviews, and reporting using KONE methodologies and digital tools.
  • Identify risks early, mitigate with contingency plans, and protect cash flow and margins.
  • Maximize revenue opportunities via change orders; forecast with precision.
  • Drive Sales-to-Operations handover quality; close projects with lessons learned.
  • Maintain master action logs, safety culture, and subcontractor competence.
Leadership & People
  • Coach, develop, and performance-manage Installation Supervisors.
  • Build capacity via Sales & Operations planning; audit sites for KONE Way compliance.
  • Ensure every installer—KONE or subcontractor—is trained, certified, and audit-ready.
Who Thrives Here
