Placements24 is seeking an enthusiastic Kindergarten Teacher to lead the Foundation Phase in Tembisa, Gauteng. You will craft engaging literacy and numeracy curricula and partner with parents to support early learning. You should have a B.Ed.

Qualifications

• Requires B.Ed. or PGCE with Foundation Phase focus.
• Minimum 3 years' experience teaching kindergarten or Grade R in a formal setting.
• Proficiency in curriculum development and lesson planning for young learners.
• Strong classroom management and communication abilities.
• Patience, creativity, and commitment to early childhood education.
• Registered with the South African Council for Educators (SACE).

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver curriculum aligned with national standards for Foundation Phase.
• Create a stimulating learning environment for diverse learners.
• Assess student performance and provide feedback to students and parents.
• Manage classroom behavior and foster a respectful, cooperative atmosphere.
• Engage parents through regular communication and involvement in school activities.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance and progress.
