Summary

We’re looking for a hands‑on web engineer to build fast, reliable, and accessible front‑ends. You’ll work across modern JavaScript frameworks, own component libraries, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines to ship quality features at pace. You care about clean code, design fidelity, and creating reusable building blocks that scale.

What you’ll do
  • Build responsive, cross-browser web applications using modern JavaScript (mainstream framework).
  • Create reusable components & design-system friendly UI with strong attention to UX and accessibility.
  • Configure and optimise bundling with tools such as Webpack or Parcel for performance and DX.
  • Implement state management patterns, integrating RESTful APIs and handling edge cases gracefully.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, quality gates, and automated checks for rapid, reliable releases.
  • Write unit tests and keep coverage meaningful, fast, and trustworthy in CI.
  • Collaborate with product, design, and engineering to refine requirements early and spot risks quickly.
  • Participate across the SDLC, from analysis and technical design to delivery and support.
What you’ll bring
  • Relevant qualification or online portfolio.

  • Bundlers: Webpack, Parcel.
  • CSS/SCSS or CSS‑in‑JS.
  • Git workflows.

  • REST fundamentals.
  • Docker experience.
  • Unit testing with Jest/Karma.
  • Full SDLC participation and sound analysis/design.
  • Cloud/CI: Azure, GCP, AWS, Jenkins.
  • DevOps: Docker, Kubernetes (beyond local use).
