Overview

At Avida, our vision is to bring fitness coaching to everyone. We accomplish this by combining empowering elite fitness influencers with a fully-integrated technology and business solution to reach a massive audience.

We are a San Francisco-based company funded by prominent Silicon Valley venture capital firms. Avida, formerly known as System2, founders Dilan Dane & Yuran Lu are ex-MIT serial entrepreneurs who have previously built and sold companies to Google, Dropbox, etc.

Responsibilities
  • Work with elite fitness coaches and widely-followed social media influencers to help them grow their business.
  • Be responsible for closing and managing warm inbound leads.
  • Grow the client base for our health and fitness professionals.
Ideal candidate
  • Have a talent for communicating, rapport building and customer service.
  • Have a minimum of 2-3 years of sales experience, ideally within a B2C setting.
  • Have excellent time management skills and are able to organize and manage your own calendar.
  • Are enthusiastic and passionate about selling.
  • Have an interest in the fitness industry.
  • Are hardworking and persistent. You are not discouraged by being told “No.”
  • Can work remotely whilst contribute to our strong team culture amongst colleagues based across the globe.
  • Love the vision of making fitness more accessible to everyone, and care about health & fitness yourself.

You don’t need specific qualifications. Enthusiasm and good energy is a must! We’ve built an incredible culture and we’d love for you to add to it.

This is a contract role based in South Africa.
