Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Sales Development Representativ​e (SDR) across South Africa. You will own the top of the funnel, researching accounts, identifying decision makers, and booking meetings to drive pipeline.

You will use tools like LinkedIn, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to craft high-quality outreach and hit volume goals while maintaining personalized touchpoints.

Qualifications

• B2B sales experience preferred. Full-cycle closers who have carried a quota are welcome.
• 2 years in a similar SDR or BDR role; agency or SaaS experience is a plus.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
