Mission of Function This position is office based, with the key objectives including: Managing incoming sales requests, Supporting quotations and order processing, Maintaining customer data in the CRM tool, Assisting the sales team and sales partners with their day‑to‑day activities when required, Provide basic technical and commercial support with the goal of maintaining customer satisfaction and revenue growth, Process customer orders, Verifying stock levels, Reporting Reports to the Sales Team Leader. Areas of Responsibilities / Tasks Sales & accounts: Handle inbound leads and customer accounts (EPCs, OEMs, end users, distributors).

Keep regular contact by phone/email and search for upsell or repeat business.

May cover complex territories and products, including both internal and external responsibilities.

Quotes: Configure, prepare and check quotes for the sales team and to customers in your assigned territory, industry, or accounts.

Orders: Convert approved quotes into orders and follow orders through to delivery.

Capture customer orders in the ERP system and determine the delivery dates (technical clarification, commercial clarification incl. creditworthiness, export control checks, checking of delivery dates and confirmation, order confirmation to the customer) to fulfil the customer order at the requested date.

Customer relationship management (CRM) & reporting: Keep CRM records up to date.

Produce simple reports on pipeline, forecasts, orders and key accounts for the Geared Motors Regional Business Development Manager.

Technical support: Be the first point of contact for product related enquiries and basic troubleshooting.

Escalate complex issues to the engineering team.

Market support: Conduct desk research on competitors and market trends, gather customer needs for new opportunities, and support product/marketing campaigns.

Collaboration: Work with Marketing, Innomotics SG ZA assembly centre and Finance to ensure smooth order execution and policy compliance.

Assist with stock forecasting when needed.

Required Competencies and Experience Minimum 5 years' experience in the commercial sales environment with focus on geared motors equipment and solutions. Understanding of key business functions including finance, marketing, and operations. Familiarity with Innomotics portfolio. Experience preparing quotes, entering orders in an ERP, managing delivery dates and following orders through to delivery. Clear written and verbal communication for internal stakeholders and customers (phone, email, virtual meetings).
