INJECTION MOULDING SPECIALIST – USA / Saudi Arabia Location : Jeddah, Saudi Arabia (initial project engagement in the United States) Industry : Automotive / Plastic Injection Moulding / Painting & Assembly An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Injection Moulding Technical Specialist to join a leading automotive manufacturing project based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

The successful candidate will initially engage with the project team in the United States before relocating to Saudi Arabia for full operational leadership.

This role is responsible for driving technical excellence in all injection moulding operations, ensuring world‑class quality, performance, and process control standards.

Reports to the Moulding Plant General Manager.

Qualifications & Experience Required
  • Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Plastics Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Minimum 8–10 years’ experience in injection moulding operations, with at least 3 years in a senior or technical leadership role.
  • Proven expertise in scientific moulding, decoupled moulding, and process control methodologies.
  • Strong technical knowledge of plastic materials, tooling design, robotics, and auxiliary equipment.
  • Experience in automotive or high‑precision manufacturing environments will be advantageous.
  • Proficiency in moulding simulation software, process monitoring, and data analysis tools.
  • Demonstrated leadership, problem‑solving, and project management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to mentor and lead technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all technical aspects of injection moulding operations, including tool validation, process optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and best practices across the moulding department.
  • Provide technical mentorship and training to moulding technicians and process engineers.
  • Lead root‑cause analysis initiatives and ensure effective corrective actions for quality and performance issues.
  • Oversee mould trials, validation, and approval for new tooling and engineering changes.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards (IATF/ISO).
  • Collaborate with Tooling, Maintenance, and Quality teams to ensure consistent tool performance and maintenance.
  • Identify and implement cost‑reduction opportunities and scrap‑minimization strategies.
  • Evaluate new technologies and materials to improve efficiency and innovation.
  • Support capacity planning, production readiness, and new project launches.
  • Establish, implement, and maintain technical and process‑control standards across all moulding operations.
