Job summary

Tumaini Consulting is seeking an experienced Injection Moulding Setter for a leading manufacturing company. The role focuses on ensuring moulds are installed and removed correctly while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities include mould changes, machine setup, and safe operation of lifting equipment and overhead cranes. The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in plastic manufacturing or injection moulding and a Grade 12 / Matric qualification.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric or equivalent.
• 2–3 years’ experience in plastic manufacturing or injection moulding.
• Experience installing and removing injection moulds.
• Experience operating injection moulding machines and lifting equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install and remove injection moulds on machines.
• Perform mould changes and machine setup.
• Operate overhead crane and use lifting gear safely.
• Interpret drawings and mould specifications for production.

A leading manufacturing company based in Gauteng is looking for an experienced Setter to support production operations, ensuring moulds are installed and removed correctly while maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, and workplace safety.

• Grade 12 / Matric or equivalent
• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience within plastic manufacturing or injection moulding
• Previous experience installing and removing injection moulds
• Experience working with injection moulding machines and associated mould connections
• Experience operating an overhead crane in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of lifting equipment, including slings, chains, and shackles
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and mould specifications
• Experience working in a production environment with strict quality and safety requirements
