Job summary

Network Finance in Durban is seeking an IT Infrastructure Administrator to support and enhance critical IT systems across servers, networks, cloud, and virtualization. You will work with IT teams and stakeholders to keep systems secure, scalable, and highly available.

The role involves troubleshooting complex issues, implementing security controls, backups, and disaster recovery, with exposure to Windows and Linux, VMware/Hyper-V, and network fundamentals.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in IT infrastructure administration.
• Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Exposure to cloud and virtualization technologies.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual server infrastructure.
• Administer and support Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Manage virtualisation platforms and ensure optimal performance.
• Monitor and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Support cloud and hybrid cloud environments.
• Implement and maintain security controls, access management, and vulnerability remediation.
• Manage backup, disaster recovery and business continuity processes.
• Monitor infrastructure health, investigate incidents, and perform root cause analysis.
• Maintain technical documentation, procedures, and infrastructure reports.
