• Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes security implications.

About the Role

You will be at the forefront of designing, implementing, and managing security solutions within cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP). Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Proven experience with security best practices in AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.
• Hands-on experience with cloud security tools and services (e.g., Security Hub, CloudTrail, Azure Security Center, Google Security Command Center).
• Understanding of network security principles, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and their security implications.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation for security deployments is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Must be legally authorized to work in South Africa and reside within reasonable commuting distance of George, Western Cape.
