You will shape security standards, evaluate technologies, conduct threat modelling, and mentor teams while staying current with industry trends and regulatory changes impacting information security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years in information security with at least 3–4 years in architecture or design roles.
• Proven experience designing and implementing large-scale security solutions.
• Deep knowledge of security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST CSF, SOC 2).
• Expertise in network security, cryptography, IAM, cloud security (AWS/Azure), and application security.
• Strong SDLC and secure development practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder influencing skills.
• Certifications such as CISSP, SABSA, TOGAF are highly preferred.
• Experience serving North West region is beneficial.

Requirements

• Proven experience designing and implementing large-scale security solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST CSF, SOC 2).
• Expertise in various security domains including network security, cryptography, IAM, cloud security (AWS, Azure), and application security.
• Strong understanding of secure development practices and SDLC.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, SABSA, TOGAF are highly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience working within or servicing the North West region is beneficial.
