Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an Infant Care Specialist for their East London early learning center. You will provide dedicated care for infants, including feeding, changing, napping, and basic health routines, in a safe and loving environment.

The role emphasizes infant development, engaging sensory activities, and close communication with families and management to support each child’s early learning journey.

Qualifications

  • Must have current Infant CPR certification.
  • Must have Pediatric First Aid certification.
  • Proven experience in infant care in a licensed centre.

Responsibilities

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and nurturing Infant Care Specialist to provide dedicated care for infants in their early learning center in East London . You will be responsible for meeting the unique needs of infants, including feeding, changing, napping, and engaging them in age-appropriate sensory and motor activities, all while ensuring the highest standards of health and safety. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of infant development and a passion for supporting the foundational growth of the youngest learners in East London .

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care for infants, attending to their physical needs such as feeding, diapering, and hygiene with utmost attention to detail and safety.
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that stimulate infants' sensory, motor, cognitive, and social-emotional development.

Requirements
  • Proven experience in infant care, preferably within a licensed childcare facility or center.

  • Current certifications in Infant CPR and Pediatric First Aid are mandatory.
  • Excellent observation skills and the ability to respond sensitively to infants' cues.
