Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to join our team. This role is essential in helping our clients stay informed with the most relevant news and industry developments in the financial services sector. The person will be responsible for identifying, compiling, and delivering a daily news summary across specific industries, with a particular focus on financial services.

The successful candidate will have strong research, writing and organizational skills, the ability to synthesize large volumes of information clearly and concisely, and the discipline to work independently on a set schedule.

What you’ll be doing
  • Monitor a wide range of reputable news sources daily to identify the most notable headlines in assigned industries.
  • Retrieve and organize the full text of relevant/selected articles and organize them in a standardized, client-ready format.
  • Synthesize key developments into clear and accurate daily news summaries tailored to client interests
  • Ensure all deliverables are comprehensive, factually accurate, and submitted according to established deadlines on time.
  • Maintain consistency in formatting, style, and attention to detail across all reports.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to refine scanning and monitoring processes and continuously enhance the quality and efficiency of deliverables to meet evolving client needs.
What makes you qualified
  • Bachelor’s degree in in Journalism, Communications, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of the financial services industry.
  • Familiarity with private equity and/or private credit.
  • Excellent command of written English with the ability to summarize complex topics clearly and concisely.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy and consistency in formatting.
  • Proven ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and deliver high-quality work on time.
  • Previous experience in news monitoring, research, media analysis or related roles is a plus.
