Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking an Industrial Relations Specialist based in Johannesburg. This permanent position requires candidates to have a BCom Degree in Labour Law or equivalent and at least 5 years of experience in Industrial Law. The specialist will manage dispute resolution, ensure compliance with labour legislation, and represent the company at CCMA. Benefits include a fuel card, provident fund contributions, and a performance-based bonus in December. The salary range is R35,000 - R42,000.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Industrial Law or Labour Law.

Responsibilities

  • Manage dispute resolution processes.
  • Facilitate consultative processes between management and employees.
  • Ensure compliance with labour legislation.
  • Control the Industrial Relations climate with all unions.
  • Report all cases with financial impact to the CEO monthly.
  • Gather and prepare CCMA documents.
  • Prepare for CCMA matters and represent the company.
  • Draft closing arguments, notices, affidavits, and letters of demand.
  • Manage disciplinary cases and assess merits of CCMA matters.

Duties :
  • Management of dispute resolution
  • Consultative process between management and employees
  • Compliance with labour legislation Controlling Industrial Relations Climate (all unions) Reporting all cases with financial impact to the CEO Monthly
  • IR report Gathering and preparing CCMA documents
  • Preparing for CCMA Matters
  • Representing company at CCMA for all referred disputes
  • Drafting of closing arguments, notices, affidavits, letters of demand , Con / Arb objections
  • Management of CCMA cases and Labour Court Referrals
  • Management of disciplinary cases
  • Assessing merits of CCMA and Labour Court matters and providing advise

CTC: R35000 R42 000
