Our client has built a strong reputation in the engineering and construction industry by delivering specialized consulting services. Initially, the focus was on strategic advice, dispute resolution, and training on the NEC Contract, which positioned the business as a trusted advisor in complex project environments.

We are looking for a highly skilled Industrial / Process Engineer to join our team in Kathu, Northern Cape. In this role, you will focus on analyzing and improving production processes, identifying opportunities for efficiency and cost optimization, and implementing continuous improvement strategies to enhance productivity and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and enhance existing workflows to eliminate inefficiencies.
  • Apply Lean methodologies (5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping) to boost productivity.
  • Build and manage Excel & Power BI dashboards to track key performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with teams to embed Lean principles and ensure effective project delivery.
  • Track improvements and quantify results in terms of time, cost, and quality.
  • Align improvement strategies with project goals and train teams on process.
Qualifications and Skills Requirements
  • Degree or Diploma in industrial Engineering, Construction Management, or related field with construction experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years in process improvement, Lean construction, or project management in the construction industry.
  • Advanced skills in Excel (Power Query, VBA), Power BI, problem‑solving, and data visualization.
  • Strong communication, proactive mindset, and a hands‑on approach to problem‑solving.
