Placements24 is seeking an Industrial Cleaning Technician for an on-site role in Centurion. You will clean and sanitize industrial machinery and facilities, operate pressure washers and floor scrubbers, and strictly follow PPE and safety procedures to protect staff.

Responsibilities include waste management, spill response, and collaboration with maintenance teams to ensure equipment cleanliness and function. Prior experience in industrial cleaning and valid transport to Centurion are preferred.

You will be responsible for performing specialized cleaning tasks, operating industrial cleaning equipment, and adhering to strict safety protocols. The successful candidate will be physically fit, have a strong work ethic, and be committed to delivering high-quality results in a demanding industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform deep cleaning and sanitation of industrial machinery, equipment, and premises.
• Operate and maintain various industrial cleaning tools and machinery, such as pressure washers and floor scrubbers.
• Adhere strictly to safety guidelines and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Manage waste disposal and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
• Respond to spills and hazardous material incidents with appropriate containment and cleanup procedures.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure equipment is cleaned and functional.

Requirements

• Previous experience as an industrial cleaner or in a similar hands-on cleaning role.
• Proficiency in operating specialized industrial cleaning equipment.
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning chemicals and their safe application.
• Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental compliance standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a physically demanding environment.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to reach sites in and around Centurion .
