Placements24 is seeking an Industrial Cleaner for a busy manufacturing site in Rustenburg, North West. You will perform detailed cleaning of floors and machinery, maintain clean production areas, and support safety and environmental regulations on site.

Ideal candidates have proven experience in heavy-duty cleaning, knowledge of OHS standards, and the ability to work physically demanding shifts. Training in hazardous materials handling will be provided as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial or heavy-duty cleaning environments.
• Proficiency with industrial cleaning chemicals and safe operation of heavy machinery.
• Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety standards in industrial cleaning.
• Ability to work in physically demanding conditions.
• Willingness to undergo training related to hazardous materials handling.

Responsibilities

• Clean manufacturing floors, degreasing and sanitizing equipment and high-traffic areas.
• Clean and maintain machinery, ensuring contaminants do not affect production.
• Manage waste streams, including hazardous material disposal, per regulations.
• Operate floor scrubbers, pressure washers and industrial vacuums.
• Ensure cleaning activities comply with health, safety and environmental policies.
• Conduct regular facility inspections to address cleaning or safety concerns.
