Placements24 is seeking an experienced Industrial Cleaning Operations Manager for its Klerksdorp facility. The role oversees a large operations team and strategic direction of all industrial cleaning activities in the North West region.

You will drive safety, quality and efficiency initiatives, manage budgets, and build strong client relationships while ensuring compliance with HSE standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in industrial cleaning operations management.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic plans for industrial cleaning operations to meet company objectives and client requirements.
• Oversee day-to-day activities of the industrial cleaning department, including resource allocation, scheduling, and project management.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations and company policies.
• Manage budgets, control costs, and identify opportunities for operational efficiency and cost savings.
• Lead and develop a team of supervisors and cleaning personnel, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of cleaning and service delivery.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and ensure client satisfaction.
• Manage inventory of industrial cleaning chemicals, equipment, and machinery; ensure maintenance and procurement.

About the Role

Our client, a major player in industrial services, is seeking an experienced and results-driven Industrial Cleaning Operations Manager for their facility in Klerksdorp, North West . This senior role will be responsible for the overall management and strategic direction of all industrial cleaning operations within the designated region. You will oversee a large team, manage complex cleaning projects, ensure strict adherence to safety and environmental regulations, and optimize operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Requirements

Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in industrial cleaning operations management. Extensive knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques, equipment, hazardous materials handling, and safety protocols. Proven experience managing large teams and complex projects within an industrial setting. Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management and cost control. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic operational plans. Strong understanding of HSE regulations and compliance requirements. Proficiency in project management software and standard office applications. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Operations Management, Environmental Science, Engineering) is highly preferred. Willingness to travel within the Klerksdorp, North West region as required.
