Placements24 seeks an Industrial Equipment Calibration Specialist to ensure accuracy of a range of industrial instruments at our client’s Cape Town facilities. The role blends on-site calibration with a hybrid model for administrative tasks that can be done remotely.

You will maintain calibration records, develop procedures, and support equipment readiness while aligning with ISO 17025 standards. Strong analytical and collaborative skills are essential for success.

Formación

• Tertiary qualification in instrumentation or engineering.
• 3+ years calibration experience in manufacturing/production industries.
• Familiar with ISO 17025 metrology standards and calibration methods.

Responsabilidades

• Perform precise calibration of industrial instruments (pressure gauges, sensors, flow meters).
• Maintain calibration records in compliance with industry standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair calibration equipment and instruments.
• Develop calibration procedures and schedules to ensure equipment readiness.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with production/engineering to identify calibration needs.
