Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Industrial Automation Engineer to enhance production capabilities in Pretoria. You will design, implement, and maintain automated systems to drive efficiency, precision, and safety in industrial operations.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Electrical/Mechatronics/Industrial Engineering, at least five years in automation, PLC/HMI/SCADA, and robotics integration with Siemens, Allen‑Bradley, KUKA, FANUC or ABB.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial automation and control systems engineering.
• Proficiency in programming PLC platforms (Siemens, Allen-Bradley) and HMI development; robotics integration experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, program, and implement PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems.
• Develop and integrate robotic systems for manufacturing processes.
• Perform root cause analysis for automation system failures and implement corrective actions.
