Placements24 is seeking a creative Merchandising Specialist to enhance visual presentation and sales of FMCG products in Benoni retail outlets. You will implement attractive displays, ensure stock levels, and align with brand guidelines to boost visibility and turnover.

The role requires independent work, strong communication with store staff, and willingness to travel within the Gauteng region to visit multiple outlets and maintain consistent merchandising standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in merchandising or a related retail role, preferably FMCG.
• Strong understanding of retail merchandising principles and visual presentation.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow brand guidelines meticulously.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel within the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain attractive product displays and merchandising strategies according to brand guidelines in retail stores across Benoni.
• Ensure optimal stock levels and product placement on shelves to maximize visibility and sales potential for FMCG items.
• Execute in-store promotions, point-of-sale materials, and signage as per marketing plans.
• Monitor competitor merchandising activities and report findings to the sales and marketing teams.
• Build strong working relationships with store managers and staff to ensure effective execution of merchandising plans.
• Regularly visit assigned retail outlets to assess product presentation, replenish stock, and resolve any display-related issues.
