Placements24 seeks an experienced In-House Counsel specializing in real estate law to manage all legal aspects of a major property portfolio in Gauteng and Soweto.

You will guide acquisitions, disposals, leasing, zoning, and development projects, provide strategic legal counsel to executives, and liaise with external counsel and authorities to mitigate risk and support business growth.

Qualifications

• Admitted Attorney with a minimum of 7 years of experience in real estate or property law.
• Strong understanding of South African property law, contract law, and relevant legislation.
• Proven experience in negotiating and managing commercial property transactions and leases.
• Excellent analytical, drafting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to provide strategic legal counsel to business leaders in a corporate environment in Soweto .
