Job summary

Quro Medical in Johannesburg combines wearables, real-time analytics and ML to bring hospital-level care to patients at home. We are seeking a passionate Full-Stack Software Engineer to build a scalable, secure digital backbone spanning edge devices, cloud pipelines and clinician UIs.

You will design backend services with Node.js and TypeScript, create front-ends in React, integrate AWS infrastructure, mentor juniors and help shape engineering culture in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, ideally full-stack.
• Expertise in two or more: TypeScript, Node.js, React.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services for real-time data.
• Build intuitive front-ends for clinicians and care teams.
• Improve data visualisation tools and ensure system resilience.
• Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and clinicians.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to engineering culture.
