Black Pen Immigration is a global immigration consultancy specializing in professional and corporate immigration services. We provide expert visa and relocation support to companies hiring international talent, as well as individuals seeking to relocate for work, study, or family reasons. Our goal is to simplify complex immigration processes through expertise, transparency, and personalized support.

We are seeking an experienced and driven Immigration Sales Lead to lead client acquisition efforts across both the corporate (B2B) and individual (B2C) markets. This role combines strategy, relationship management, and hands-on sales execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Law, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of proven experience in sales, business development, or client relationship management — ideally in immigration, legal, HR, relocation, or professional services industries.
  • Strong B2B and/or B2C sales background with a track record of achieving targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple leads simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in global mobility, HR consulting, or corporate immigration services.
  • Familiarity with South African immigration laws and visa categories.
  • Multilingual abilities (especially in French, German, or Portuguese) are an advantage.
  • Previous experience managing a small sales or client success team.

Responsibilities

1. B2B (Corporate Sales)

  • Identify and pursue business opportunities with companies hiring international staff (e.g., tech firms, startups, corporates, and global mobility partners).
  • Build and nurture relationships with HR Managers, Talent Acquisition teams, Legal/Compliance departments, and Relocation Agencies.
  • Present tailored immigration and visa solutions to meet corporate needs for work permits, intra-company transfers, and compliance support.
  • Develop and manage partnership agreements, corporate pricing structures, and service packages.
  • Collaborate with the Operations and Legal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and client service delivery.

2. B2C (Individual Sales)

  • Generate and convert leads from individuals seeking immigration assistance (work, study, permanent residency, family visas, etc.).
  • Guide clients through the immigration process with empathy, professionalism, and a consultative approach.
  • Conduct consultations, assess eligibility, and provide accurate quotes and service recommendations.
  • Manage client relationships from initial inquiry to contract signing and service completion.
  • Ensure a high client satisfaction rate through clear communication and follow-up.

3. Sales Strategy & Leadership

  • Lead the end-to-end sales process — from prospecting and pipeline management to closing deals.
  • Analyze client trends and market data to develop sales strategies for both B2B and B2C growth.
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to align campaigns with sales objectives and lead-generation goals.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records using CRM software (e.g., HubSpot or Salesforce).
  • Monitor and report on KPIs including lead conversion, sales revenue, and client retention rates.

4. Collaboration & Growth

  • Collaborate with the Immigration Consulting team to ensure consistent client experience and compliance with immigration laws.
  • Contribute to training and mentoring junior sales or business development team members.
  • Provide input on service offerings and pricing strategies to enhance competitiveness.
