The ideal candidate will have a CA(SA) qualification and experience in financial reporting, taxation, and IFRS compliance. Qualifications

• Qualified CA(SA) is essential.
• 3–5 years’ post article experience in an Accounting or Financial Reporting role.
• Strong understanding of South African Tax Law (VAT, Income Tax).

Responsibilities

• Ensure accounting records comply with IFRS and company policies.
• Prepare and submit VAT and income tax returns to SARS.
• Perform monthly portfolio reconciliations.

Skills

Qualified CA(SA)

Experience in Accounting or Financial Reporting

Strong working knowledge of IFRS

Experience with SAP

Understanding of South African Tax Law

Exposure to auditing and internal controls

Knowledge of B-BBEE legislation
