PKF South Africa in Pretoria is seeking a detail‑oriented Financial Statement Preparer to assemble compliant financial statements for diverse clients under IFRS and SAICA guidance. You will work with CaseWare and Excel, liaise with auditors and clients, and contribute to accurate reporting.

The role focuses on preparing annual financial statements for companies, trusts and sole proprietors, ensuring IFRS for SMEs and Companies Act compliance, while maintaining high quality and timeliness.

Qualifications

• SAICA articles completed.
• BCom Accounting or BTech or equivalent qualification.
• Proficiency in CaseWare and Microsoft Excel.

Responsabilités

• Prepare annual financial statements for a portfolio of clients using CaseWare or similar software.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS for SMEs, full IFRS, Companies Act, and other relevant regulations.
• Liaise with auditors, clients, and internal teams to gather and verify supporting documentation.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial reporting requirements and SAICA standards.
• Assist in the review and quality control of financial statements prepared by junior staff (if applicable).
• Contribute to continuous improvement of reporting processes and tools.
