Job summary

Momentum in Cape Town seeks a Retail Business Consultant to forge lasting partnerships with IFAs across product ranges and markets. You will meet IFAs, share insights, and drive business growth through strong service and timely support.

You bring 1–3 years of relevant sales experience, a 3-year BCom, and a good grasp of financial services; CFA/CFP is a plus. You will be an educator and growth catalyst for Momentum’s IFA network.

Qualifications

• 3-year BCom degree in Financial Planning, Investment or Business Management, Marketing, Finance, Education or Legal.
• CFA and/or CFP® is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Be visible to the IFA to understand needs and drive value (Myriad, Investo, Health & Investments).
• Visit IFAs and IFA offices; deliver marketing messages on products.
• Analyse and monitor activities to exceed sales targets.
• Record minutes of meetings and respond to requests promptly.
• Understand IFA landscape, build long-lasting relationships, convert non-active to active supporters.
• Be the IFA's educator within Momentum; promote leadership and trusted guidance.
• Help grow the IFA’s practice by identifying new products and client segments.
