Teneo is currently looking for an Economics Teacher to join our IEB FET department.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Economics curriculum, be confident using digital tools to deliver high-quality online instruction, and be committed to fostering an engaging, supportive, and interactive virtual learning environment.
Deliver high-quality, engaging Economics lessons to students in an online format.
Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies that encourage critical thinking, economic reasoning, and real-world application of economic concepts.
Create and manage online course materials, including lesson plans, assignments, assessments, and examination preparation resources.
Demonstrate strong subject knowledge across core Economics topics in line with the IEB curriculum requirements.
Monitor student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback to support academic development and performance.
Facilitate interactive and collaborative learning experiences through virtual platforms, discussions, case studies, and data analysis activities.
Stay up to date with developments in Economics education, curriculum changes, and best practices in online teaching.
Maintain regular and professional communication with students, parents, and colleagues to support student learning and wellbeing.
Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously enhance subject knowledge and online teaching practice.
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Economics, or a related field.
Relevant teaching certification and qualifications.
Minimum of 5 years’ teaching experience in Economics, preferably with experience in an online or blended learning environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to engage and motivate students in a virtual learning setting.
Self-motivated, organised, and able to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.
