Job Summary
ABD Consultants is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager / Team Leader to oversee a SharePoint enhancement and support project for a national client.
The successful candidate will lead a small technical team responsible for maintenance, enhancement, and user adoption of Microsoft SharePoint and related Microsoft solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate a SharePoint support and enhancement project team.
- Manage client relationships, timelines, and deliverables.
- Oversee project documentation, reporting, and governance.
- Conduct and document monthly performance and progress reviews.
- Ensure compliance with the client's and ABD project management frameworks.
- Support the development of user adoption and training materials.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer to the client's ICT personnel.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 3 years' experience in IT Project Management.
- NQF Level 6 qualification or higher (Degree or Diploma in IT, Business, or related field).
- Project Management Certification (PMI, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
- Proven experience managing Microsoft or SharePoint-related projects.
- Excellent stakeholder communication and reporting skills.
- Desirable: Experience in the public sector environment.
- Familiarity with POPIA, governance, and compliance processes.
- Compensation: Market-related, based on experience.
