About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous Hygiene and Sanitation Specialist to join their operations in Centurion . This role is integral to ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and public health are maintained within the organization's facilities and operations. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring hygiene programs, conducting audits, and providing training to staff on best practices. This hybrid role allows for a blend of on‑site oversight and remote administrative tasks, offering flexibility while ensuring the critical functions of sanitation are expertly managed. Your expertise will directly contribute to a safe and healthy environment for both employees and the wider community.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive hygiene and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to assess compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Investigate and report on sanitation issues, recommending and implementing corrective actions.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on proper cleaning techniques, chemical handling, and infection control.
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and efficient usage.
• Stay updated on industry best practices, new regulations, and emerging technologies in sanitation.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Hygiene Specialist , Sanitation Manager, or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations, sanitation standards, and cleaning protocols.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to conduct thorough audits.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for training and reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with sanitation management software.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work model, based in Centurion .
