Role Description

This is a full-time in office position for a Hydrogeologist at Sound Mining's offices based in Johannesburg. The Hydrogeologist will be responsible for field work related to water resource management, groundwater assessment, aquifer modelling (numerical), reporting in the context of both open-pit, underground mining & environmental monitoring.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Hydrogeology, Geology, Environmental Science, or related field
  • Professional registration with SACNASP & GSSA or similar international bodies
  • Field Work and Water Resource Management skills
  • Geological knowledge
  • Experience in conducting hydrogeological surveys and assessments
