Placements24 is seeking a Social Media Marketing Coordinator to support a growing e-commerce brand in Queenstown, Eastern Cape. You will create, schedule, and manage content across social channels and help build an online community while driving brand awareness.

You will collaborate with the Marketing Manager to implement social media strategies, monitor engagement, and contribute to campaign development. This hybrid role offers learning opportunities and career growth in digital marketing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
• Prior experience or strong interest in social media marketing and e-commerce.
• Familiarity with major social media platforms and their best practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of social media analytics and reporting.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the creation and scheduling of daily content across social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter).
• Monitor comments, messages, and trends, responding promptly and appropriately.
• Support development of social media campaigns and promotions.
• Track and report on engagement, reach, and follower growth.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities.
• Collaborate with marketing team to ensure brand consistency across channels.
