About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Sanitation Supervisor to oversee and manage daily cleaning and sanitation operations at their facility in Polokwane, Limpopo, ZA . This hybrid role involves a blend of on-site supervision and remote planning/reporting, ensuring adherence to the highest hygiene standards. You will lead a team of sanitation technicians, implement cleaning protocols, conduct inspections, and ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate has a strong background in sanitation management, excellent leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the activities of sanitation staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to standard.
• Develop, implement, and enforce comprehensive sanitation policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities, equipment, and processes to identify and address sanitation issues.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Train new employees on sanitation procedures, safety protocols, and the use of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Manage the inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and cost-effective procurement.
• Investigate and resolve sanitation-related complaints or incidents.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate cleaning schedules and minimize operational disruptions.
• Prepare reports on sanitation activities, team performance, and compliance status.

Requirements
