Job summary

CHEP South Africa (Pty) Ltd is seeking a Master Data Analyst to safeguard Master Data accuracy across the AMETA region. The role emphasizes data governance, integrity, and improvements to pricing and customer data workflows.

You will work with SAP, Salesforce, PowerBI and SQL to maintain up-to-date data, support automation, and drive quality across cross-functional teams. Hybrid work arrangement supports work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Certification in Information Systems/Computer Science/Data Analytics
• Experience with data management with accuracy and attention to detail
• Experience of SAP, Salesforce and Excel skills and knowledge
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel
• Working knowledge and exposure to SAP and Salesforce would be advantageous
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Logical and methodical work ethic
• Minimum of 12 months experience in Master Data or administrative environment

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed data analysis and quality control to identify irregularities and ensure resolution
• Develop and monitor KPIs to ensure data quality SLAs
• Design and implement data integrity measures, including automation, to streamline workflows
• Maintain master data records using SAP, Salesforce, PowerBI, and SQL
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize data management and reporting
• Create and maintain documentation for data procedures and governance
• Provide training and support on data tools and processes
• Support data-related projects and testing of master data changes
