Placements24 is seeking a an ambitious Junior Financial Planner in Benoni, Gauteng. This hybrid role combines in-office client interaction with remote work flexibility, reporting to senior planners, and focusing on investments, retirement planning, and risk management.

You will develop comprehensive client plans, analyze needs, gather data, and implement recommendations while adhering to regulatory requirements and company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or related field.
• CFP designation in progress is desirable.
• Prior experience in financial services or client support.
• Strong understanding of financial markets and basic planning principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in planning software and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior financial planners in developing tailored financial plans for clients.
• Conduct client needs analysis and gather financial information.
• Research investment products, market trends, and economic conditions.
• Prepare financial projections and scenario analyses.
• Support the implementation of financial plans, including investment recommendations and insurance solutions.
• Monitor client portfolios and provide regular performance updates.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships with excellent service.
• Stay current with financial planning best practices and industry developments.
• Handle administrative tasks related to client accounts and planning processes.
