Job summary

Altron Limited in Cape Town seeks an IT Technical Business Analyst to join the Margin Assurance team. You will work with business users to elicit and define requirements and collaborate with the Development team on data‑intensive solutions.

This permanent role requires 3 to 4 years’ experience, a relevant IT degree, and good SQL skills. You will analyse data, document flows, and support UAT in a hybrid work environment in Plattekloof.

Qualifications

• N. Diploma or B-Tech / Degree in Information Technology / Computer Science / Engineering degree.
• Business Analysis course/Certification (Beneficial)
• 3 to 4 years’ experience as an IT Technical Business Analyst or related role
• Basic SQL
• Good comprehension of complex data
• Strong ownership, a self-starter and driven
• Work under pressure, high demand

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with various teams and stakeholders to implement new solutions.
• Conduct interviews and workshops to understand stakeholder needs.
• Document and analyse business requirements clearly.
• Develop use cases and user stories to define system functionality.
• Document process flows, data flows and integration requirements.
• Analyse data according to internal quality metrics.
• Communicate requirements to development teams and ensure alignment with specs.
• Facilitate design sessions with product owners and technical teams.
• Support user acceptance testing and deployment activities.
